Provides good comfort for long distance rides

Lighter frame and available in different materials

_

For fast road racing, Endurance bikes may be a disadvantage

Roadie

.

AERO ROAD

Aerodynamic, sleeker and tapered frame design with drop bars

Usually paired with aero wheels and other components

Lower and more aggressive rider position

Frames are slightly heavier than Endurance bikes due to the aero profiles

Less comfort for long distance rides

♦ May require more flexibility

More costly with high end specs

TT

.

TIME TRIAL

Extremely aerodynamic frame with very aggresive and flat profiles

TT set up includes Aero Bar extensions with integrated shifters

Offers high stiffness, speed and power transfer

Hard for rider to sustain the low riding position for long periods

High stiffness may make long rides uncomfortable

 Very costly build and components

 Disadvantage during climbs

track
